What services do you offer?
I produce high quality:
- Promotional videos
- Event videos; full length and highlights
- Interviews; single & multi camera
- Training, instructional and in house content
- Music videos - performance and story based
How much does a video cost?
The fact is no two videos are the same and this is why a 'one size fits all' pricing structure doesn't work. An online retailer may have very different video needs when compared with a charity, for example. There are so many variables in video production; overall duration, logistics and music choice are all examples of the various elements that can affect how much the end cost will be.
To achieve the best results, high quality content is made to suit you and your business so that it portrays you in the best light. To obtain a tailor made quote click here.
Isn't video really expensive?
Not necessarily! In fact with some careful planning you can get excellent value content for your money. By considering a freelancer such as myself you are already potentially making savings as my overheads will be lower than most production companies. Find out more here.
One way you can get excellent value for money is to maximise your shoot days. You would be amazed at how much content you could release from a single days filming! I wrote an article about the matter which you can read here.
Do you provide all equipment?
For most of my clients' needs, yes, I am able to provide the high definition camera, sound, lighting and editing equipment. However, as no two projects are the same, sometimes a client has a specific need in which a specialist piece of equipment is required. In this case if I need to hire anything I will be upfront about it before filming goes ahead and keep you updated on what the additional cost may be.
In which areas do you operate?
Although I'm based in Sussex, not far from Brighton, the furthest I have been for a days filming is Gibraltar! However, typically most of my work takes place in London and the South East. I have easy access to the capital, Brighton and Portsmouth areas.
Traveling to work is not an issue, it comes with the job!
How quickly will I get my finished video?
This all depends on what you require. Some videos such as short interviews can potentially be turned around the same or following day, others such as promotional material often require several days editing. When taking into account that you may like to make amendments throughout the edit, this can sometimes delay the turnaround to several weeks. However, I aim to deliver your video as quickly as I can without compromising on quality.
I will be upfront and honest with you if I don't believe that your requirements are realistic or if availability is an issue. However, in many cases of the latter I am able to source experienced freelancers who can carry out the work on my behalf to ensure that your deadline is met with ease.
Why should I choose you over a production company?
There are several reasons why I might be a more suitable choice for you. As a freelancer who works from home I have the benefit of having much lower overheads than most production companies. This saving can in turn be passed on to you.
What's more, as I have done freelance work for many production companies over the years I have gained valuable experience and an extensive network of contacts which can also be applied to your production. The reality is I can't always do everything myself but I know who to call if another crew member is required such as an additional cameraman or an animator.
Finally, as a freelancer I can offer somewhat more flexibility than some organisations may be able to offer. Filming is not a 9 to 5, Monday to Friday job. There are early starts, late finishes and sometimes whole weekends are spent making great content. If your business needs flexibility when it comes to their video requirements I could be the ideal person to help you.

I need somebody to do some filming last minute. Can you help?
I certainly can! Many freelancers such as myself are used to getting offers for work last minute. The shortest notice I've ever been given was an hour! Even if I'm not available on a particular occasion the chances are I'll know someone who is.
I'm ready to book, what happens next?
Great! You can either drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, call me on 07812 454 785 or fill in the contact form here. It would be helpful if you could provide as much information as possible about your requirements.
Once we've established what you require and I have quoted accordingly, a deposit of 50% is required up front in order to secure the booking and get the dates into the diary.
I'm unsure about the exact dates for my booking. What should I do?
No problem! Get in touch as normal and I'll do what I can to ensure your requirements are met.
If for any reason I'm not available and your dates aren't flexible then I will find a suitable replacement who can act on my behalf, whether that be solely for the filming process or for the editing as well.
If you have a question that isn't covered here do feel free to drop me a line and I'll see how I can help.
