Brief: Russell Finex required a customer testimonial for their eco-filter, that was being used in a beautiful whiskey distillery in Derbyshire. Our challenge was that the product itself wasn’t the most visual and there were only so many angles we could get of it. So, the focus had to be on the client’s story: the challenge they had of filtering the local river water efficiently for cooling the stills and how the eco-filter saved them both time and money in the long term. In such a beautiful location with so much heritage, a sequence of mostly tripod shots felt most appropriate for this story. Interviews were unscripted and all footage was captured in 4K for HD delivery, allowing for a 50% crop in post-production, which gave us some added creative flexibility.
